The benefit of regular massage
Hypocrites said that the key to good health was a daily scented bath and a massage. While medicine has advanced since his time and the benefits of daily washing no longer comes as a surprise, a massage is still considered a luxury to this day. No one can deny the benefits of human touch, sink into a warm hug, hold hands or cherish a head massage……..stress just melts away. A massage given by a skilled and trained therapist is the ultimate relaxation. Massage therapy can be used to improve relaxation, relieve tension or soothe muscles. The effects of a massage can be felt emotionally, mentally and physically, although they are a great way to relax and unwind, massages also offer many health and wellness benefits too.

Health Benefits

If your muscles are weak, a massage can stimulate your circulation and wake up those tired muscles. For individuals with an active lifestyle, certain types of massage can alleviate strain and reduce soreness caused by an intense workout. With regular massage therapy, you will experience significantly less cramping, muscle spasms and stiffness. Regular massages are believed to improve overall health and well-being. They also relieve stress, improve the body's immune system, reduce pain, control blood pressure, boost immunity, and aid in the treatment of anxiety and depression

Different types of Massage
There are several different types of massage, such as Registered Massage Therapy, Swedish, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage. Each of them differ in terms of the amount of pressure applied, varied stroke techniques and the products or oils used. The Swedish Massage is known to relieve stress or tension through the use of long strokes and circular movements. In comparison, Hot Stone and Aromatherapy massages use Essential Oils and lotions to stimulate the mind and body. Relaxation is achieved by inhaling the scents, which are thought to promote our physical and emotional well-being. Depending on the specific needs of each client, the essential oils are mixed differently to deliver the best result for each individual. Reflexology massages target the feet or the hands using pressure point techniques which are believed to correspond with different parts of the body. The effects of stimulating the body in this way include reduced tension, improved circulation and detoxification. A great treatment to relieve tension or pressure in the head and neck is the Indian Head Massage, this technique is extremely relaxing and believed to reduce stress, tension and pain.
