What are Specialty Facials?
There are many different types of facials that target specific skin types and conditions. Most basic facials offer a deep cleansing and exfoliation, followed by toning and moisturizing techniques. For acne prone skin, products such as deep cleansing or clay based products are used to help remove oil from the pores. Sometimes extractions are performed when there is a significant build up of sebum causing clogging. There are also specific facials designed for skin that appears dull or tired, environmentally stressed, dehydrated, or prematurely aging. Following these skin treatments, it is beneficial that you follow the home skin care regimen recommended by your skin care specialist. With daily care, using the correct products for your skin and having regular facials, your complexion will improve dramatically.
What can I expect from a facial treatment?
Your facial treatment will be conducted in one of our private treatment rooms where soothing music will set the tone for relaxation. Most facials will include a deep cleansing, exfoliation, steaming, massage and specific product application. You should leave feeling rejuvenated, with glowing, healthy looking skin.
